The 5 Funniest YouTube Videos You Need to See Today — 10.15.13

Every day of the week, self-described “YouTube Expert” Danny Vega, picks the 5 Funniest Videos You Need to See Today. Be sure to email him (danny at heavy dot com) if you have any funny videos or a funny channel you would like to be considered.

5. Pornography Edited for Christian Broadcasting by Aunt Francis[GRAPHIC WARNING]

Simple enough, to the point, and hilarious. Kind of evokes seeing a movie where sex is implied but not shown, but then the movie is really, really bad.

4.Gold Digger Prank by Vitalyzd

While there’s bound to be a lot of sexism and misogyny in these YouTube comments (or any YouTube comments ever), we can’t deny that this little “prank” is as funny as it is satisfying. Busted, girlfriend! Then again, as a straight male, if a dude asked me for drinks, I’d say no. If he had a Lambo, I’d tell him I was straight but totally jump on in. Just kidding… I wouldn’t tell him I’m straight.

3. Tune for Two by Alfa Primo[GRAPHIC WARNING]

Oldie but a goodie, this 2011 classic depicts a grim execution scene, but things quickly get weird and goofy. Amazing how serious this one is at first, and it’s that gravity that makes the gag that much funnier.

2. Officer Maggot by thankscomputer [HIGHLY OFFENSIVE]

By far the most offensive video to be featured in today’s round-up, Officer Maggot does everything wrong, cringe-worthy, racist, and just plain obnoxious in this 13 minute epic sketch. The thing is, you can’t sustain 13 mins of an obnoxious cop unless you do it with some real originality and panache, and Officer Maggot, despite his cliched racist and sexist tendencies, somehow brings something new to the table. He kinds of reminds me of a character that fell out of UHF or something. Hilarious.

1. Hell No: The Sensible Horror Film by PixelsPerSecond

This very realistic horror movie gets props for being flawlessly written and a concept anyone can relate with and understand. We’ve all seen movies and screamed at the protagonist’s plot-driven irrationality, and this sketch is seriously cathartic to that end. It brilliantly spoofs some specific horror films while at the same time lampooning the whole genre, and really begs the question, can’t we get a horror movie that doesn’t rely so much on stupid characters doing implausible things? Phenomenal and an easy number one for today, and probably the week.
