Daytona 500 2015: Who Are The Favorites?

After Thursday night’s Budweiser Duels, the Daytona 500 field and starting positions are finally set. And there are some familiar names at the top of the lineup.

Hendrick Motorsports will start 1-2-3 in Sunday’s 57th Great American Race. Jeff Gordon is on the pole, Duel 2 winner Jimmie Johnson joins him in Row 1 on the outside position and Dale Earnhardt Jr., the Duel 1 victor, is in the 3rd spot.

The oddsmakers like the trio’s chances. According to Bovada, defending champion Earnhardt is the favorite at 7-1. Gordon and Johnson are right behind him at 8/1 odds to win the 500.
