John Lackey’s masterpiece gave the St. Louis Cardinals an early advantage in the NLDS against the Chicago Cubs, and now the Cards will look to establish some important breathing room with potential CY Young Jake Arrieta waiting in Game 3.

Tasked with continuing the momentum for St. Louis will be Jaime Garcia, who went 10-6 with a 2.43 ERA and 1.05 WHIP in 20 starts this season. The left-handed Garcia, who has yet to face the Cubs this season, is forcing Joe Maddon to make some lineup changes.

Kyle Schwarber, who has been red-hot as of late but is hitting just .143 against lefties this season, will take a spot on the bench, while Maddon is inserting right-handers Jorge Soler, Austin Jackson and Miguel Montero into the lineup.

If the lineup changes don’t help, the Cubs will need a big performance out of Kyle Hendricks, who was up-and-down during the season but ended the year by allowing just three hits and two walks in 12 shutout innings over his last two starts.

First pitch is scheduled for Saturday at 5:37 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on TBS. If you can’t get to a television, here’s how to watch online or on mobile:
