WATCH: Cam Newton Threatens Fan at Auburn-Alabama Game

Cam Newton came back to Auburn for the big Iron Bowl matchup against Alabama. He was seen walking around the stadium before the game. In the above video, you can see Newton giving high fives to Auburn fans.

The tone turned serious after an Alabama fan brings up Newton’s “pay for play” scandal while he was at Auburn. Many speculated that Newton’s father shopped his son around to various schools and tried to start a bidding war between schools.

The video shows Newton telling the fan, “I’ll slap the s–t out of you.” There were no reports of anything turning violent as Newton kept walking.

Newton was able to attend the Saturday game since the Carolina Panthers played the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving rather than their typical Sunday game. He led the Panthers to a 33-14 victory on the holiday.

Despite only playing at Auburn for one season, Newton is a legend at Auburn. He led the team to a national championship and won the Heisman Trophy.
