The team is the first squad in NFL history to lose six of its first seven games by no more than one score and each one of those losses have been vaguely heartbreaking. They very easily could have been wins.
Baltimore has had a chance to either tie or win the game in the final two minutes of every single matchup the team has played this season. But key mistakes down the stretch, injuries to big-name players and a lack of composure in the red zone have led to a 1-6 record and the worst start in franchise history.
Now, the Ravens look to turn things around against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday afternoon. It’s also important to note that the Ravens think they can still turn things around. The Chargers are riding their own three-game losing streak heading into Week 8, fresh off a shellacking against the Oakland Raiders last week.
