UPDATE: Monday, June 6 at 2 p.m. ET

When Brock Lesnar makes his return at UFC 200, it’ll be against Mark Hunt:

Hunt is just 7-4-1 inside the Octagon, but he has won his last two fights, defeating both Antonio Silva and Frank Mir via first-round knockouts. The latter earned him a Performance of the Night bonus.

With Lesnar’s massive size and the Super Samoan’s crippling knockout power, this has the potential to be an explosive matchup.

Brock Lesnar is back.

The UFC announced Saturday night that the former heavyweight champ, who last fought at UFC 141 on December 30, 2011, will make his return to the Octagon at UFC 200 on July 9, 2016:

The question, now, on everyone’s mind is simple: Who will the 38-year-old fight next?

According to UFC insider Ariel Helwani, Josh Barnett wants the fight:

Barnett, ranked as the No. 9 heavyweight by UFC.com, has lost two of his last three fights, most recently falling to Ben Rothwell via second-round submission in January.

Of course, even on short notice, there’s probably a long list of men who want this fight. Landing on the massive UFC 200 card is pretty much every fighter’s hope, but being able to do it against Lesnar, a massive superstar making his long-awaited return, only sweetens the pot.

Bleacher Report’s Chiappetta suggests a couple of other potential opponents for Lesnar:

Frank Mir is battling a potential suspension, but Carwin, who has also been away from the sport since 2011, is a possibility. He and Lesnar fought at UFC 116 in July of 2010, with Lesnar winning via second-round submission.

Fortunately, the wait to find out who opposes Lesnar won’t be a long one:
