Thanksgiving would not be complete without football and awkward small talk with relatives you have not seen in years. Today’s slate features three NFL games along with a night college football matchup.

This ensures that if you can survive the morning you will not be without football for the rest of the day. The Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys host their matchups as part of the annual Thanksgiving tradition, but today features additional teams offering intriguing matchups.

The Vikings-Lions matchup kicks off on CBS at 12:30 p.m. Eastern. It is a game with additional interest as the winner will be in first place in the NFC North.

The second game features a historic rivalry matchup between the Redskins and Cowboys. It kicks off at 4:30 p.m. Eastern on FOX. Washington comes in at 6-3-1 while Dallas is 9-1 this season. The teams are fighting for position within the NFC East.

LSU-Texas A&M kicks off from Kyle Field in College Station at 7:30 p.m. Eastern on ESPN. It is the lone college football game that will be played on the holiday. While the game looked like it would offer more intrigue just a month ago, this SEC matchup is still worth keeping an eye on for the LSU defense along with Texas A&M’s trio of receivers including Josh Reynolds.

Finally, the Steelers take on the Colts at 8:30 p.m. Eastern on NBC. It is the last game of the day and means there will be two games going on at the same time to end the night. It happens just in time for your third slice of pie.

Here’s a list of the schedule of games:
Minnesota Vikings vs. Detroit Lions 12:30 p.m. Eastern CBS
Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys 4:30 p.m. Eastern FOX
