BYU takes on Wyoming tonight in the Poinsettia Bowl. According to OddsShark, BYU enters the matchup as a 10 point favorite.
The over-under is set at 57 points. Both teams have performed well when it comes to Vegas. BYU is 9-3 against the spread this season while Wyoming is 9-4.
The OddsShark computer likes BYU to come up with the victory. The computer projects a 37.8-29 BYU win over Wyoming. The computer is taking Wyoming against the spread and the over on the point total.
The S&P+ projections also favor BYU and give the Cougars a 70 percent chance of winning the bowl game.
BYU enters tonight’s game on a four game win streak and have won seven of their last eight games. Wyoming has lost two straight games and looks to bounce back in their bowl matchup.
BYU’s victories include Arizona, Mississippi State and Michigan State. Wyoming has come up with some big wins of their own this season by defeating Boise State and San Diego State.
Heavy likes BYU to come away with the victory, but Wyoming has the talent to make it a tough game for the Cougars. Look for BYU to pull it out in the end, but Wyoming is the pick against the spread.
