North Carolina isn’t the defending champion and didn’t win the ACC, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t one of the most dangerous teams in the tournament. The Tar Heels are seeking a 20th trip to the Final Four, and are looking to avenge a last-second loss in last year’s national championship. Led by dynamic scorer Justin Jackson, North Carolina can compete with any team in the tournament.

North Carolina are the top seed in the South bracket, and will take on Texas Southern. Former Indiana coach Mike Davis led the Tigers to a SWAC title, with athletic Junior guard Zach Lofton leading the offense.
