As the pair continue to get cozy together on peaceful getaways to Lake Powell and roadside stops to watch the sunset, while also embracing their mutual appreciation for fashion during glamorous outings in Paris and California, there could be a new joint venture in the couple’s future.
A shared passion for fashion and style, overlapping friends and social circles, and jet setting international lifestyles aren’t the only things that Kardashian and Hamilton have in common. Now they may be taking part in a television project together for Netflix. Here’s what to know about the reality television series in which both Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton may soon appear.
Lewis Hamilton Has Been Part of the Netflix Series for 8 Seasons (and counting!)

Since its debut in 2019, the Netflix series “Formula 1: Drive to Survive”, which is a reality TV-style docuseries, has transformed how fans experience the motorsport of Formula 1, aka F1 for short. Produced with the cooperation of the sport’s teams, governing bodies, and individual drivers, the series offers a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of drivers, team principals, and the high-pressure world of the F1 World Championship circuit. It also delves into the lives of the drivers off of the track, including their downtime during the offseason and a look into their personal lives.
Netflix cameras follow the drama both on and off of the Grand Prix circuits to turn each annual racing season into a season of compelling and attention-grabbing storylines. As a veteran driver going into his 20th year in the sport, Lewis Hamilton is a key part of the series and his storylines have many times been the most fascinating to follow. In particular, seasons 7 and 8 of the show focus heavily on Hamilton’s shocking move when he signed with the Scuderia Ferrari F1 Team in a twist that sent major waves throughout the entire Formula 1 world.
Season 9 of the Docuseries is Being Filmed Right Now

Each season of “Formula 1: Drive to Survive” is based upon one individual F1 Grand Prix season. For example, the recently released season 8 of the series follows the 2025 F1 World Championship circuit. This means that season 9 of the show will reveal the storylines from the current 2026 F1 season – in fact, season 9 is being filmed right now with cameras rolling live at all Grand Prix races (including the recent Australian GP) and at off-track events for behind-the-scenes content. The format of filming is the same type of reality television production which Kim Kardashian and her family have been doing professionally since the start of their original show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” in 2007.
Given that Lewis Hamilton is not only one of the most respected drivers on the current F1 grid, but also the driver with the most World Championship titles to his name, it makes sense that he’s a prominent player in the Netflix series from season to season. With Hamilton as a focal point in the reality docuseries, his relationships off-track are part of the narratives which are told in the show’s storylines. For season 9 of “Formula 1: Drive to Survive” which is filming the current 2026 Formula 1 year, Hamilton’s budding romance with Kardashian is certain to be included in the series.
As the couple continue their dating trajectory, then the frequency of appearances Kim could make in season 9 of the show is likely to increase, thus setting her up to be a recurring presence in the series. And given her presence on camera, any scene she’s in – even if it’s a momentary cameo – is one in which she’ll be the star, even when standing next to a seven-time Formula 1 World Champion!
