It’s no secret that there are complicated relationships between Hollywood’s A-Listers. In many ways, celebrities are just like us when it comes to managing interpersonal dynamics – both good and bad, for better and worse. And just like with every squabble and great offense, there is always something to be learned from a tumultuous moment in life.
Earlier this year, reality television alumna Kim Kardashian came out publicly with an updated take on her well-known feud with singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. And within her comments, there is a lot of nuance to be considered. Here’s what to know about the resurfacing of the Kim Kardashian-Taylor Swift feud – and just how it relates to Formula 1 today.
Kim Kardashian Has Spoken Openly About Taylor Swift

Having been instigated during Kim Kardashian’s marriage to her now ex-husband Kanye West, the feud she has had with Taylor Swift is no secret. But after a decade, little had been mentioned of the tumultuous events until Kim opened up on her sister Khloe Kardashian’s Khloé in Wonder Land podcast in January 2026, saying, “I think I’ve said it. I have some of her older songs in my playlist. I’ve always thought she’s like a super talented, great artist.”
Putting the past in the past and paying a well-deserved compliment to the talent and career of Swift is certainly the best thing to do after the dust has settled on such an abrasive, global feud. Now, with Kim Kardashian’s budding romance with Formula 1’s Lewis Hamilton, there may be a thing or two to be passed on between the pair. Hamilton, though one of the most decorated drivers in F1 history with seven World Championship titles to his name, is one who is also known for having a decorated list of feuds with other drivers on the grid.
Lewis Hamilton Has Cultivated Many Feuds With Current Drivers

Lewis Hamilton is well respected on the Formula 1 grid, but that doesn’t mean that there are good vibes all around the paddock. The Scuderia Ferrari driver was the target of the burning end of one of his many feuds as recently as this weekend at the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai when reigning World Champion Lando Norris fired pointed words towards him after qualifying.
Speaking to the current advantage of the Mercedes F1 team so far in the 2026 season, Hamilton spoke with media about his former team’s current success on the grid, saying, “In qualifying, they have another mode that they’re able to go to, a bit like a ‘party mode’ back in the day, and once they get to Q2, they switch that on, and we don’t have that, So, whatever that is. And then in the race, they obviously don’t have that mode, so they still obviously have an advantage overall.” But not deeming his peer’s explanation as satisfactory, Norris fired back saying, “We don’t have [party mode], so maybe he is used to his old days when they had it back then.”
While Norris’s comments may not seem to add too much fuel to a fostered feud, Hamilton has also been known to have had feuds with fellow Briton George Russell, Max Verstappen, and other veterans behind the wheel. Perhaps Hamilton’s growing relationship with Kim Kardashian can help him see that feuds aren’t worth holding onto and that perhaps he and his competitors should acknowledge when one another shows talent out on the race track. Or perhaps racing is entirely different from reality television – “Drive to Survive” aside – and we’ll have to see what happens throughout the rest of the 2026 F1 season.
