The Buffalo Bills are heading into the 2026 NFL Draft with a chance to improve their roster even more. Many believe that they could be targeting more help for star quarterback Josh Allen.

Earlier this offseason, the Bills made an aggressive traded with the Chicago Bears to acquire star wide receiver D.J. Moore. He will fulfill the No. 1 target need that Allen had. However, there is more room for the offense to improve.

At this point in time, Buffalo holds the No. 26 overall pick in the first round of the draft. On Thursday night, the Bills might just make Allen very happy.

Throughout the pre-draft process, Buffalo has been connected to quite a few potential wide receiver options. Once again, the Bills are being predicted to target a wideout.

Buffalo Bills’ First-Round Draft Target Coming Into Focus

No one truly knows what Buffalo is going to do with the No. 26 overall pick. The overwhelming consensus lately has been that a wide receiver will be the target.

Brandon Ray of BuffalowDown has named Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion as the top player on the draft board for the Bills.

“The Bills have been mocked to KC Concepcion what seems like forever now, and it would be the perfect fit for what Buffalo’s offense needs,” Ray wrote.

“Even with trading for D.J. Moore earlier this offseason, the Bills still need another dynamic playmaker to add with Moore and the rest of the receiving core. Concepcion has phenomenal breakaway speed and he can line up on the outside to stretch the field to open up the playbook for guys like Khalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid in the middle.”

Concepcion would be the kind of playmaker and weapon that could take the Buffalo offense from very good to extremely dangerous.

A Closer Look at What KC Concepcion Brings to the Field

During the 2025 college football season at Texas A&M, Concepcion racked up 61 receptions for 919 yards and nine touchdowns. He totaled 185 catches for 2,218 yards and 25 touchdowns throughout his three-year college career.

The Ringer’s draft expert Todd McShay took some time to share his overview about the young wide receiver.

“Chicago’s Luther Burden is slightly taller and thicker than Concepcion, and Indianapolis’s Josh Downs is slightly smaller but faster,” McShay wrote.

“As a dynamic slot receiver who stresses defensive backs with his burst off the line and body control to uncover quickly, Concepcion shares a lot of similarities with both players. But Concepcion’s special trait is his ability to create after the catch. Staying healthy and improving his ball skills (particularly in traffic) are the challenges, but Concepcion is ready to make an immediate impact as a receiver and returner.”

It will be interesting to see what the Bills choose to do at No. 26 overall. Concepcion has become more and more of a favorite to be the selection when all is said and done.
