Von Miller interested in reunion with Bills

Star pass rusher Von Miller is hoping to sign with the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills signed Miller to a six-year, $120 million deal in 2022, but the deal had plenty of opt-outs. Miller made an immediate impact, but he tore his ACL on Thanksgiving Day in 2022, which hindered his play and resulted in Buffalo releasing him on March 9, 2025.

Miller spent last season with the Washington Commanders and led the team in sacks with 9, showing he’s still an impact pass rusher. Although he’s still a free agent, Miller said he believes the Bills will win the Super Bowl this season and hopes to sign with them.

“Man, I would love to go back to the Buffalo Bills,” Miller said on Neon’s live stream.

When asked who he thinks will win the Super Bowl this season, Miller made it clear it’s the Bills’ time, which is why he wants to return.

“The Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen is going to get them one. Josh Allen is going to win a Super Bowl. The Buffalo Bills already beat the Kansas City Chiefs before; Josh Allen is going to get one. James Cook is one of the best backs in the league, Josh Allen is going to win a Super Bowl, Lamar Jackson is going to win one.”

It’s a bold prediction from Miller, who believes the Bills are in a prime position to win a Super Bowl this season, as the pass rusher believes Allen is too good not to win one.

For now, Miller remains a free agent, and he hopes he can return to Buffalo.

Miller Was Thankful for Bills Tenure

Despite Miller being released by Buffalo, he had no hard feelings toward the team.

Instead, after being released, he spoke at length about his time in Buffalo and said he enjoyed his time with the Bills.

“Fifteen years in the game, you just don’t want to go through those growing pains of losing again,” said Miller. “That’ll drag you down faster than anything else. You can never predict what’s gonna happen next, especially in the NFL. You never know what’s gonna happen next. Winning football games is a huge priority for me and everything comes after that. …

“I’ve done everything I can possibly do,” Miller said. “Whatever’s next for me is what’s next. It’s fun, it’s exciting, you’re looking at new teams and new quarterbacks. You can never replace a Josh Allen and the season that he had.”

Miller played three seasons with the Bills, recording 14 sacks.

Buffalo Addressed Pass Rush in Draft

The Bills did address their pass rush in the NFL Draft by selecting T.J. Parker with their first pick.

Parker was solid in 2024, but had a down year last season. He still expects to make an impact on the Bills’ pass rush.

“Very physical player who loves using hands, doesn’t shy away from contact in the run or the pass game. Very powerful with my long arms and my speed, the power,” Parker said. “(I’m) one guy who could change up and use a little speed, a guy who’s going to try to play with attitude, run to the ball, get there as fast as possible and put pain on somebody. (I’m) playing fast, physical football … and I’m trying to bring the nasty to the defense.”

Parker recorded 37 tackles and 5 sacks last season, after recording 57 tackles and 11 sacks the year prior.
