Members of the rap group Migos were involved in a shootout along a Florida interstate early on Friday morning, reports WSVN.
Here’s what you need to know:
1. 1 Person Was Shot
One person was wounded in the attack. The injured person may be a member of the group, according to The Miami Herald. He was shot in the leg. Migos manager has said nobody in their group or entourage was hurt. TMZ claims that one of the group’s bodyguards is the wounded man. There were eight people in the van.
2. The Group Were on En Route to Their Hotel
The shooting happened in the Miami area at around 3:30 a.m., according to CBS Miami. The group had just left a nightclub and were on their way back to to their hotel. TMZ reports that Migos were travelling in a van together when another car pulled up alongside and opened fire.

3. They Just Had a Dispute With the Management of the Club
The shooting came after they refused to play a gig at a club called Cafe Iguanas. They were involved in a dispute because of it. Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Joe Sanchez told WSVN:
They were supposed to be performing at Cafe Iguanas in Broward and apparently for whatever reason there was an altercation or disagreement with management and they didn’t perform, so as they were driving southbound on I-95, according to the witnesses in the van, a dark vehicle pulled along side them and opened fire. A member of the group was in possession of his personal handgun and he returned fire.
The group’s manager told TMZ, “There was at least 40 rounds being blasted on those n******.”
CBS Miami reports a manager of Club Iguanas telling them that the group were not scheduled to perform.
4. The Group’s Van Was Confiscated
It isn’t known if cops have a suspect in custody. WSVN reports that cops have impounded the band’s van as part of their investigation.
5. You Probably Know Migos From Their Hit ‘Versace’
The popular rap group hail from Gwinnett County, Georgia. Their song “Versace” dropped in 2013 and went viral. They’ve collaborated with artists like R. Kelly, Gucci Mane, Busta Rhymes and Chief Keef.

The group is made up of members Quavo, Takeoff and Offset. It’s a family affair, with Quavo being Takeoff’s uncle and Offset and Quavo being cousins.
