1. Morgan Will Be Showing Off Her Burlesque Skills on the RHONY
On tonight’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, Morgan will be performing one of her song skits. She gives us the full run-down on what we can expect to see.
On tonight’s episode you will see a preview of one of my “sing song skits” that I wrote, choreographed and performed for Ligaly, a youth center on Long Island for the LGBT youth thanks to David Kilmnick.
I collaborated with Steve Carl of Carlisle Off the Green to create a cabaret-like intimate feeling at the East Hampton Studio, which is a huge airplane hanger. We somehow pulled it off and Steve also graciously donated the food and champagne.
My dear friend Hank Stampfl of Speakeasy Moderne brought the Broadway and Off-Broadway performers and I performed my cameo alongside them.
2. She Opens Up on How She Feels About the Show’s Newest Cast Member Kristen Taekman
Kristen Taekman is the new housewife on the block this season and Sonja has opened up about her feelings on Taekman as well as what she brings to the show.
I love the new housewife Kristen Taekman. She’s a breath of fresh air and she’s very pretty. She’s a Ford model and I enjoy taking her under my wing, lingerie shopping, and spray tanning at my house … basically sharing any of my lifestyle tips I’ve learned over the years. She’s a bit younger than myself and having some growing pains within her marriage since she has two young children. I like to see women maintain their personal power while being a wife and mother.

3. Divorce Has Not Conquered Sonja Morgan
Morgan bravely opened up to discuss how she’s overcome her divorce and how she maintains her independence as a successful woman on her own.
I’m very independent and I worked my way through college so I know that no matter what happens I can take care of myself and I can take care of my daughter. I don’t need a divorce settlement from my husband to feel complete. I’m not waiting for the other shoe to drop. Does it hurt emotionally? Yes. However, I also have a strong network of support, people around me that are truly there for me through thick and thin. I had to learn to accept their help, I am very proud. I like to be generous with people, but always found it hard to accept from others. I just have to have faith in God and know that I am very fortunate indeed to have my health and wonderful family and friends. My charity work keeps me grounded and reminds me how lucky I really am.

5. She’s a Big Supporter of the LGBT Community
Sonja Morgan is a big believer in charity, especially with the LGBT community. When speaking with Morgan, she expressed her firm belief in philanthropy and her love of putting together charity events.
No matter what I’m doing whether filming for five months to produce season six of The Real Housewives of New York City or if I take my entrepreneurial lifestyle brand global I will always support my charities, children, artists, animals, and the LGBT.
It’s what I love to do and it gives me a chance to express myself creatively. I have a lot of experience in hospitality and public relations the past decades so for me to throw a charity event is not difficult and like I said I enjoy doing it. I love to entertain and take people’s minds off their own pain.
