I’m always trying to reach through the time-space continuum and bring something from the future to the present. These are the songs I would play if I was invited to a dinner party on the moon. I’m imagining all the artists floating a little bit.
The playlist included songs by Nina Simone, Kanye West, and David Bowie.

Prior to becoming St. Vincent, Clark was a part of the band The Polyphonic Spree and Sufjan Stevens' band as well. Clark went to Berklee College of Music for three years before she dropped out and returned home. She then joined the band The Polyphonic Spree and they all left for a European tour. Wikipedia notes her transition from The Polyphonic Spree to Sufjan Stevens' band as this:
Clark left The Polyphonic Spree and joined Sufjan Stevens' touring band in 2006, bringing with her a tour EP entitled Paris is Burning. It contains three tracks, including a cover version of Jackson Browne's "These Days".
5. Mark Salling Is a Former Classmate of Hers
So Annie Clark of St. Vincent graduated high school is Mark Salling (Puck) from Glee. Oh how I laughed.

Mark Salling, also known as character "Puck" on the show Glee, was a classmate of Clark's at Lake Highlands High School in Dallas, Texas. Aside from being in theater and the school's jazz band, Clark had big things going on as a teen. Not many teenagers have worked as the tour manager for their uncle and aunt, Tuck Andress and Patti Cathcart, of the jazz duo Tuck & Patti.
