Floribama is picking up where the Jersey Shore left off … Well, kind of … The new MTV reality show films a house full of young party-goers in Panama City Beach, Florida, with eight cast members in the mix. Aimee Hall, is a 25-year-old who has joined the cast and has been shown in preview clips saying that all she wants to do is just have one-night stands. According to Alabama Entertainment, Hall is good with her fists, knows how to pray and can shotgun a beer. When she’s not on television, Hall works as a bartender at a place called The Scrap Yard.
In a phone interview with Alabama.com, Hall described herself as this, “I am not an actress. I’m just me. I have the biggest personality, I know. I’m super-goofy. I’m serious, too. I’m a hot mess.” When Hall applied to be on the show, she said she had just gotten out of a 10-year relationship and just needed a break from life. According to her MTV bio, Hall realized her relationship was doomed when her man got another girl pregnant. Hall said that her man cheated on her with her cousin and joked to MTV that “that’s normal in Alabama anyway.” Hall said that she came from such a small town and that everyone knew what her man did. She previously applied to be on the reality show Party Down South, but she didn’t make it. Party Down South has since been cancelled, but Romper reports that Hall is a friend of former PDS cast member Ryan “Daddy” Richards. Check out a picture of Hall and Richards together in the below Instagram pic.
In addition to Hall, the other cast members on the show are Jeremiah Buoni, Codi Butts, Kortni Gilson, Kirk Medas, Nilsa Prowant, Candace Rice, and Gus Smyrnios. And, the official show description released by MTV reads, “The story of eight Southern kids who come to spend the summer in the hottest beach town on the Gulf Coast, Panama City Beach, to party it up and put the real world on hold for just a little bit longer. But each is armed with incredible life experiences and standing at a crossroads, whether it’s ending a relationship, tasting independence for the first time, or trying to escape the past. This coming of age story captures the very real thrill and angst of being young and trying to figure out the future with a group of people you’ll come to call family.”
Deadline reports that producers have said this cast “is armed with incredible life experiences and standing at a crossroads, whether it’s ending a relationship, tasting independence for the first time, or trying to escape the past. This coming of age story captures the very real thrill and angst of being young and trying to figure out the future with a group of people you’ll come to call family.” Aimee Hall says that the boys in the house are very high maintenance.
