Google announced on Wednesday it will be releasing new updates to its Gmail service. The company unveiled a fresh new look for Gmail on the web, as well as its Android and iOS apps. The new update will help users manage and organize their inbox with “tabs”. Gmail’s new tab system will have 5 different categories including Primary, Social, Promotions, Updates, and Forums. Google says in time it will remember how users want their tabs filtered. If it turns out you don’t like the new update, to switch back to the classic inbox, users just need to turn off all the tabs. The update will start rolling out to all Gmail users today, and will be available on Android 4.0+ devices and iOS in the next few weeks.
