I don’t agree with the above comment. Panasonic make some excellent appliances (although I can’t comment on Emerson or Hamilton Beach as they aren’t available in the UK). You need to make sure you choose the right models – just like any brand – but they are generally reliable.

You also can’t go wrong with Samsung microwaves – although they aren’t cheap.
