John is a columnist for Pittsburgh Baseball Now, a contributor to The Associated Press and Baseball Digest, and the student media advisor at Robert Morris University. His work has also been featured at Forbes, USA Today, Baseball America and Baseball Prospectus.

He was also named the National Baseball Writer of the Year in 2001 by SportsTalk.com (now ESPN+).

Education

John Perrotto earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Geneva College, where he is a member of the school's athletic Hall of Fame.
