Houston placed Hamilton (ankle) on its injured reserve list Friday. Per Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, Hamilton's recent surgery to repair a broken ankle was successful, and he'll need around four months to recover. Due to the timing of his placement on IR, it's unlikely he'll get a chance to play again until 2026.

Hamilton is set to undergo surgery on his injured leg Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Hamilton was carted off the field during Wednesday's practice session after sustaining what is reportedly a serious injury. The rookie seventh-round pick is set to be sidelined for the next four months and is expected to be placed on injured reserve in the near future.
