Jeff Francoeur is a 10 year MLB veteran, has played for five MLB teams, was the 2007 Gold Glove Winner, has over 100 career home runs, played in the 2010 World Series, and recently signed with the San Diego Padres.
But he’s the laughing stock of his current AAA team, the El Paso Chihuahuas.
Why? Because his entire team convinced him that a fellow teammate, Jorge Reyes, was deaf.
And these teammates were in on the joke for the long haul: they convinced Jeff that Jorge was deaf for an entire month.
Check out the mockumentary on “deaf” baseball player Jorge Reyes, and the big reveal on teammate Jeff Francoeur in On Jeff Ears.
