This one is going to be difficult to pick. Seriously different. Because these two teams are very, very similar.

Both Gonzaga and Utah boast strong players in the post – Domantas Sabons for the Bulldogs and Jakob Poeltl for the Utes – players that can turn a game around and players who, on Saturday, will face off against each other in a big man battle royale of sorts.

Still, there are trends to consider.

The Bulldogs have been on fire recently, going 5-0-1 ATS and 5-0 SU in their last six. On the flip side, the Utes have gone 8-2 ATS in their last 10 and 10-1 SU in their last 11. Utah’s only loss in that stretch came in the Pac-12 championship game.

Another thing these teams have in common? They like to score; quite a bit in fact. The total has gone OVER in four of Gonzaga’s last six and OVER in four of Utah’s last five.

Of course the Bulldogs are an 11-seed and that might sway some fans towards the Cinderella trend, but this is a case where the glass slipper might actually fight. Keep an eye on Sabonis. If the big man can get going, he’s going to be tough to stop.
