The Pac-12 has quietly established itself as one of the deepest conferences in America this season.

Although the conference only boasts one Top-10 team and four Top-25 squads (which figures to drop to three after Cal’s heartbreaking loss on Thursday), it is projected to send seven teams to the NCAA tournament, which would be the highest total since it transformed into a 12-team conference in 2012. What’s more, those seven teams don’t even include Washington or UCLA, both of whom have a bevy of young NBA talent and have proven capable of competing with any team on a good night.

The teams of the “Conference of Champions” have spent much of the season beating up on each other. Now, altogether on a neutral court to battle it out for an automatic NCAA bid, we have the potential for a highly entertaining week in Las Vegas.
