Game Preview: All eyes are on Bristol as the speedway plays host to the Virginia Tech and Tennessee college football game. The capacity for the game is expected to be close to 150,000 people, and the “Battle at Bristol” will look to crush the previous attendance record of 115,109 of the 2013 game in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Tennessee is coming off an early scare against Appalachian State where the Vols needed overtime to escape with the win after trailing for much of the game. Virginia Tech had a decisive win against Liberty, but will face a much different opponent tonight against the Volunteers. JUCO transfer quarterback Jerod Evans had a solid debut but will be tested early against a Tennessee defense with a number of NFL prospects including Derek Barnett.
