Week 7 features 15 games with just the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers on a bye. Heavy takes a look at the best NFL spreads for this week and gives you our top picks for the weekend. This weekend's prime time matchups offer lots of intrigue after a string of duds. Sunday Night Football features an NFC West rivalry matchup as the Seattle Seahawks go on the road to take on the Arizona Cardinals. Monday Night Football has the Houston Texans squaring off with the Denver Broncos. The matchup features Brock Osweiler against his former team after there was plenty of chatter by the Broncos defense over Osweiler's defection this offseason. These are just a couple of the Week 7 matchups. Heavy takes a look at this week's best NFL picks both straight up and against the spread. The picks are listed in order from least to greatest level of confidence. All odds listed are courtesy of OddsShark and are subject to change. No. 6 Chargers Over Falcons
Spread: Falcons by 5.5
Outlook: This may seem like a shocking pick but the Chargers are due for some positive regression. San Diego finally got over the hump last week with a big win over the Broncos. They had lost their previous three games by four points or less each week. I like the Chargers to continue their momentum this week and come up with the upset win over Atlanta.(Getty)
Pick: Chargers Straight Up & Take the (+5.5) Points

No. 5 Jaguars Over Raiders
Spread: Jaguars by 1
Outlook: This may seem like a strange line from Vegas, but the Jaguars offense is due for a breakout game this season. Jacksonville has played better at home. It may seem tempting to pick the Raiders as a slight underdog, go with the Jaguars in this one. The metrics are also bullish on Jacksonville this week. The OddsShark computer projects a 29.6-19 Jaguars victory. (Getty)
Pick: Jaguars Straight Up & Covers the (-1) Spread

No. 4 Patriots Over Steelers
Spread: Patriots by 7
Outlook: Two things make this matchup favorable for New England. The Patriots have been playing lights out since Tom Brady returned from his suspension. Secondly, the Steelers are without Ben Roethlisberger and will start Landry Jones. The Patriots should make short work of a banged up Steelers team. The OddsShark computer projects a 10 point victory for the Patriots. (Getty)
Pick: Patriots Straight Up & Covers the (-7) Spread

No. 3 Seahawks Over Cardinals
Spread: Cardinals by 1
Outlook: It is a bit of an odd line given how the Cardinals have played to start the season. Arizona is coming off a big win against the Jets on Monday Night Football. Seattle has consistently played well against Arizona and get a large contingent of 12's to fill up University of Phoenix Stadium. The Seahawks have won three of the last four matchups against the Cardinals. Russell Wilson is still not playing like he is 100 percent which limits his ability to scramble. Despite the injury, Wilson has been able to hurt teams through the air and do enough to help the Seahawks gets wins early this season. Look for the Seahawks defense to take advantage of a banged up Carson Palmer and get the win on the road. (Getty)
Pick: Seahawks Straight Up & Take the (+1) Points

No. 2 Broncos Over Texans
Spread: Broncos by 9
Outlook: The Texans were fortunate to come up with a comeback win on Sunday night against the Colts. Denver is a much better team than the Colts but are coming off two straight losses to the Chargers and Falcons. The Broncos have a bit of extra motivation in this one given it is Monday Night Football as well as a matchup against Brock Osweiler who left the Broncos for the Texans over the offseason. Osweiler has struggled to start the season and the Broncos defense will give him nightmares all Monday night.(Getty)
Pick: Broncos Straight Up & Covers the (-9) Spread

No. 1 Vikings Over Eagles
Spread: Vikings by 3
Outlook: Philadelphia hit a rough patch last week against Washington. It will be a difficult week for the Eagles to bounce back. Minnesota is coming off a bye and have the best defense in the league. Look for the Vikings to put a lot of pressure on rookie quarterback Carson Wentz which should lead to turnovers. (Getty)
Pick: Vikings Straight Up & Covers the (-3) Spread
