Parity figures to be a central theme of the 2017 Big Ten Tournament.

According to BracketMatrix.com, which compiles NCAA tournament bracket predictions from over 100 sources, the Big Ten currently has seven teams in the projected Field of 68. And of those seven teams, every single one is expected to receive a seed somewhere between 4 and 10.

While Purdue has established itself as the team to beat behind double-double machine and unanimous conference Player of the Year selection Caleb Swanigan, any one of Wisconsin, Maryland, Minnesota, Michigan State, Northwestern and Michigan could make a deep run in Washington D.C. this week without it coming as a surprise. Throw in two bubble teams–Illinois and Iowa–fighting for their Big Dance lives, and you have the makings for a wide-open conference tournament.
