Cameron Boozer's parents CeCe and Carlos Boozer continue to cheer on Duke.

March Madness fans are sure to be treated to plenty of content about Cameron and Cayden Boozer’s family, and for good reason. The Boozer twins’ parents, Carlos and CeCe Boozer, are regulars in cheering on Duke.

Back in 2009, news surfaced that the couple had filed for divorce. Yet, Carlos and CeCe both remain involved in Cameron and Cayden’s lives.

During a May 13, 2025, interview on the “grownwoman” podcast, Cameron and Cayden’s mom CeCe opened up about seeing her sacrifices pave the way for the fraternal twins‘ success.

“I think it feels a little bit surreal because when you’re in the moment of making the sacrifice, you don’t think it’s a sacrifice,” CeCe noted. “You just go with where your heart is. And I tell people that all the time when they ask, like, how do you do this or how do you do that? And I said, because it’s the only thing I know. I put my head down and I do the work and I see the goal and I meet the goal.

“And once I meet the goal, I make another goal. For me, it’s nice to see them at this moment, seeing the culmination of everything that’s happened and to be able to look back and say, I’m thankful and I’m grateful for you kind of putting your head down and making the way. So I think that, you know, as a parent, that’s all we can ask for.”

Here’s what you need to know about the Boozer family.

Cameron & Cayden Boozer’s Dad Carlos Boozer Was a 2-Time NBA All-Star

The Boozers come from a serious basketball family. Carlos Boozer was quite the NBA player, playing an impressive 13 seasons in The Association.

Cameron and Cayden’s dad played for the Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers. Carlos was a 2-time All-Star and was named to the All-NBA team during the 2007-08 season. The Boozer brothers followed in their dad’s footsteps by playing at Duke.

“I’m just so proud of them,” Carlos told Sports Illustrated’s Alex Gonzalez during an April 8, 2025, interview. “They’ve worked their butts off in high school. They’re excellent students and just great human beings. And for them to get a chance to go to Duke, I’m just really proud of them. I think it’s an incredible institution, a great place to learn and figure out who you are as a young person.

“And obviously, the basketball is unbelievable. Being a Duke Blue Devil, the brotherhood rings deep for the rest of your life, but when you get on campus, you see it’s a very special place. So I’m super proud that my boys are going to my alma mater, and soon, it’ll be their alma mater.”

Cameron Boozer on Growing Up With an NBA Dad: ‘It Just Brings a Love for the Game Out of You’

Growing up around NBA players could only help Cayden and Cameron. During an interview with Heavy Sports’ Alder Almo, Cameron reflected on getting an up-close look at life in the NBA. Cameron is projected to be a top pick in the upcoming 2026 NBA draft.

“Growing up, being in a family room at NBA arenas, seeing great players like Derrick Rose growing up — it just brings a love for the game out of you,” Cameron explained in a March 13, interview.
