On Friday evening, the LA Clippers will face off against the San Antonio Spurs (in Texas).
The Clippers most recently beat the Indiana Pacers (at home) by a score of 130-107.
Yanic Konan Niederhauser finished the game with six points, four rebounds and two blocks while shooting 2/2 from the field in eight minutes of playing time.

Before the game, the Clippers announced that Niederhauser will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
He finished his rookie year with averages of 4.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per contest while shooting 64.0% from the field in 41 games.
Underdog NBA wrote: “Yanic Konan Niederhauser to undergo season-ending foot surgery.”

Niederhauser was the 30th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft out of Northern Illinois and Penn State.
He finished his final season in college with averages of 12.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per contest while shooting 61.1% from the field in 29 games.
Justin Russo wrote during the game that Niederhauser got injured: “Yanic Konan Niederhäuser is down on the floor and grabbing at his right ankle and foot area. This looks bad. Niederhäuser is going to the locker room with assistance. You don’t want to speculate, but the way his foot looked on the replay was not good.”

The Clippers are coming off a year where they lost in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.
They are currently the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 30-31 record in 61 games.
Over their last ten games, the Clippers have gone 6-4 (and they are in the middle of a three-game winning streak).
Following the Spurs, they will play their next game on Saturday when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies.

On the other side of Friday’s game, the Spurs come into play as the second seed with a 45-17 record in 62 games.
They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak (and have won nine out of their last ten).
