Brandon Beane and the Buffalo Bills have had a very aggressive approach to the 2026 NFL offseason thus far.

Right off the bat, the Bills went out and acquired star wide receiver D.J. Moore from the Chicago Bears. Josh Allen has been needing more help over the last couple of years, but Buffalo hasn’t fixed the problem. Moore is a big step in the right direction.

Outside of the trade to acquire Moore, the Bills have also made free agency moves to sign pass rusher Bradley Chubb, safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, and others.

Buffalo has options to pursue if it wants to continue being aggressive. One of those options would include pulling off another trade to acquire a superstar wideout for Allen.

Buffalo Bills Linked to Potential $44 Million WR Trade

FanSided’s Austen Bundy has come up with a few potential trade suitors for Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Davante Adams. There have been reports that the Rams were open to trading Adams this offseason, which has led to this speculation.

With that being said, the Bills were on the list of potential trade suitors.

“Josh Allen’s championship window is closing and he’s desperate for a true No. 1 receiver that’ll help Buffalo get over the playoff hump. Pairing him with Adams would leave the team with absolutely no excuse to not lift the Lombardi Trophy,” Bundy wrote.

“The only thing keeping the Bills from getting the Rams to pick up the phone is their thinness in draft stock. That’s where throwing in a young playmaker, one that appears to be expendable like WR Keon Coleman, could pique Los Angeles’ interest.”

Making a trade for Adams would be an extremely aggressive swing. However, it’s the kind of swing that Super Bowl winning teams usually make.

Davante Adams Could Be the Missing Piece for a Championship

Heading into the 2026 NFL season with Adams and Moore at the wide receiver position would give Allen the weapons he needs to power Buffalo to a Super Bowl run.

Adams played in 14 games during the 2025 season, which was his first with the Rams. He caught 60 passes for 789 yards and 14 touchdowns. Back in 2024 with the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Jets, he totaled 85 receptions for 1,063 yards and eight scores.

While he is now 33 years old, Adams is still one of the best wideouts in the NFL. Placing him alongside of Allen would be one of the better quarterback-wide receiver duos in football.

It’s possible that Los Angeles isn’t interested in trading Adams anymore. But, if the Rams are open to the idea, it would make sense for the Bills to come calling.
