Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are getting criticism following the team falling out of the playoffs and the New England Patriots advancing.

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills won’t be at the big game this season, and that’s the main reason the franchise let go of head coach Sean McDermott after the team crashed in a 33-30 overtime loss to the Denver Broncos in the NFL divisional round of the playoffs.

On Sunday, January 25, the AFC Championship game took place, featuring the New England Patriots against the Broncos, the the Patriots won, meaning they’ll advance to the big game. So, not only does it hurt that the Buffalo Bills didn’t make it to the Super Bowl yet again, but now, they have to watch one of their biggest rivals, the Patriots, go all the way.

See the Bills’ heated rival in the big game isn’t lost of people in the NFL. It’s like pouring salt in the wounds of a disappointing end to the Buffalo Bills’ season.

Well, it’s a group effort. It wasn’t just me. I stand up in front of you guys and I am thankful of the people that are around us in that building and our program,” New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel said after the win. “I’ve been in their position. I have. I’ve been there. And it’s amazing.”

He added, “And I want other people to feel that feeling. It’s for families that make a lot of sacrifices and the excitement and joy they have. Trust me, I am fine. I’ll be OK. I do this for the player to be able to experience this with their families and the coaches to experience this with their families.”

Buffalo Bills Get Called Out After New England Patriots Win

Following the Patriots’ win, NFL viewers took to social media to take a dig at the Bills.

“The Bills and Texans (and their fans) have to be sick watching this,” Adam Schein said on X. “Stefon Diggs really made the Super Bowl before Josh Allen,” FanDuel Sportsbook said.

More followers also made the observation, with one saying, “Diggs gets to a Super Bowl before Josh Allen.” “Super Bowl appearances: 1 — Drake Maye 0 — Josh Allen,” StatMuse added.

“Drake Maye is going to go to a Super Bowl before Josh Allen is you need anymore evidence that wins are NOT a QB stat,” added one more.

So, in general, Allen and the Buffalo Bills are getting head from both fans and analysts. But, there’s always next year to turn things around and prove people wrong.

New England Patriots Head Coach Mike Vrabel Gives Props to Team

After the Patriots win, Vrabel had glowing things to say about his team. “Today was just another example of, as things kind of change and unfold, our ability to adjust,” Vrabel told reporters after the game. “Players executed when they had to. I know there’s going to be a lot of questions about this, that the other thing. We did enough to win the football game in tough conditions.”

Vrabel added of his current team, “Fun to coach. They’re entertaining. We get another week for Will’s weekend update. They’ve been resilient. They’ve been very coachable. There’s a lot of connectivity in them. And I appreciate what they do.”
