Each week in her newsletter, Steinfeld has been highlighting readers’ comments, and she has also shared how much those comments mean to her. In the Friday, January 16, issue, she shared a comment from a reader named Bria.

“The coolest thing about this BS community is that we get to learn about one another,” Bria says in the comment. “It feels like we’re all having our little weekly get-together and uplifting one another to get through life. And thanks for this issue, I’ll be indulging in some new content and recipes that I can’t wait to try.”

The previous newsletter, Steinfeld shared from a reader named Veronica, “Love the wonderful and simple prompts. They’re questions I’ve never actually had time to ask or even think about asking’ But they come at the perfect moment as I’m considering some realignments of my own – thank you so much.”

It’s sweet to see how inspired readers are by Steinfeld’s newsletters, in the same way Bills fans are inspired by what Allen does on the field.

What People Are Saying About Buffalo Bills vs. Denver Broncos

When it comes to the oddsmakers, this game is expected to be one of the tightest in the NFL’s divisional round of the playoffs. Most oddsmakers have the Broncos as 1.5 point favorites, so it doesn’t get much closer than that. The Bills actually opened as slight favorites but that changed, because of Buffalo’s wide receiver injuries.

Aside from the odds, NFL analysts and discussing the game, and each has their rationale for who will win and why. So, let’s get into official predictions for the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos and who they’re favoring for the game.

Pete Prisco of CBS Sports has the Bills 23 and Broncos 21. “This game is all about Josh Allen vs. the Denver defense,” he says. “That defense is special, but we’ve seen teams with good quarterback play have success against them. Allen was good last week against the Jaguars.”

Prisco adds, “The Bills have run-defense issues, but the Broncos don’t run it well. That means it’s all about Bo Nix. Can he make the plays to win it? I think in the end, Allen will make the plays to pull off another tough road victory.”

Eric Cohen of Sportsline via CBS Sports doesn’t agree. He has the Broncos 24 and Bills 21. “Buffalo is so banged up and now is facing one of the league’s best defenses on the road. The Bills whacked the Broncos last season, but Denver is improved in 2025-26 and Buffalo is worse,” he says. “It’s dicey to put my trust in Bo Nix over Josh Allen, but his supporting cast is simply better. While I think this one will be extremely close, I will lean to the home team in another NFL playoff thriller.”

Jordan Mendoza of USA Today states, “Josh Allen proved he can win on the road, but can he do it against an elite defense in Denver? The shaky receiving room of Buffalo proves to be the difference with the No. 1 seed moving on.”

Lorenzo Reyes of USA Today adds, “This is strength on strength, but don’t discount the homefield advantage and the week of rest the Broncos were able to get. But this is exactly the type of defense, one that can get to the quarterback relentlessly and not necessarily using blitzes, to give Josh Allen and the Bills fits. I think this line is a little light, so I really like the Broncos here.”
