While the MMA world is on the edge of its collective seat waiting for Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz, the UFC 196 preliminary cards offer an intriguing warm-up to the main event.

Diego Sanchez and Jim Miller headline the Fight Pass card, while Brandon Thatch meets Siyar Bahadurzada at the top of Fox Sports 1 card. The latter is particularly compelling, as it pits a pair of once-promising fighters who have shown impressive stoppage power but are both in desperate need of a win after losing two in a row.

How to Watch UFC 196 Prelims Online

The first preliminary card, which starts at 6:30 p.m. ET, can be watched live online via UFC Fight Pass. There are one-month ($9.99), six-month ($8.99 per month) and 12-month ($7.99 per month) subscription options, but if you’re looking to watch tonight’s prelims for free, you can do so with UFC’s free seven-day trial.

Users can watch the first preliminary card on the UFC app, which is free to download for your Apple device or your Google device.
