Benedict Cumberbatch had a whirlwind San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, with two big projects to show off. On Saturday night, he was giving updates on Doctor Strange at the Marvel panel. A few hours later on Sunday morning, he had to be in Hall H once again for the new season of Sherlock.
will give audiences their first look at the multiple dimensions in the Marvel Universe. Cumberbatch plays the lead character, Stephen Strange, a doctor who is in a horrible car accident and goes on a journey. He meets The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) and the doors into the mystical side of the Marvel Universe are opened.
Cumberbatch also found time to film a new season of Sherlock
, which will eventually air in 2017. In three seasons, the show has only had 10 episodes and it's been difficult to get both Cumberbatch and co-star Martin Freeman together to make them.
