The Ravens head to Denver to take on the Broncos in the season opener. The two teams did not face each other in the 2014 season and last faced off in the 2013 season opener as the Broncos defeated the Ravens 49-27 in Denver. Each team has undergone changes since then and 2015 offers a fresh slate.

One coaching change has effected both teams. Gary Kubuiak was the offensive coordinator last season for the Baltimore Ravens. Kubiak was hired by the Denver Broncos this offseason as the head coach. Broncos fans are curious how Kubiak will revamp their offense while Ravens fans wonder how the team will adjust to their fourth offensive coordinator in four years. Former Bears coach Marc Trestman was hired as the Ravens new offensive coordinator.

The biggest question coming into this game is which Peyton Manning we will see. Manning struggled in the last few games of 2014 and did not look impressive this preseason. It is difficult to negate Manning’s body of work just based on what he has displayed recently.

The position to watch for the Ravens is their wide receiver group. They lost Torrey Smith to free agency and rookie Breshad Perriman was injured all of training camp. Perriman may not play against the Broncos.

The Broncos were 8-0 at home during the 2014 regular season. While the Broncos will not look as polished on offense, they still have enough firepower to get the job done.

Denver Broncos 31, Baltimore Ravens 21
