Two teams that are fairly suddenly in desperation mode square off in primetime in Week 4. The Cowboys started off the season in fine fashion, going 2-0 and looking like the class of the NFC East. Since then, quarterback Tony Romo was found to have a broken collarbone and the ‘Boys got destroyed by the Falcons in Week 3.
New Orleans, meanwhile, has some quarterback drama of its own. The normally-reliable Drew Brees has been a bit unlike himself thus far in 2015, and is coming off of a rotator cuff injury that kept him out in a Week 3 loss to Carolina. Brees plans to play, so as long as he’s minimally effective the Saints (0-3) should have a fair chance to win the game on Sunday night.
Here’s what you need to know about this Week 4 game:
Line: Saints (-7)
New Orleans is 1-4 against the spread in its last five games
Dallas is 6-3 against the spread in its last nine games
Moneyline: New Orleans -180, Dallas +157
The total has gone over in seven of Dallas’s last nine games on the road
The total has gone under in four of New Orleans’s last six games
