Washington vs. USC: Point Spread, Total & Prediction

Washington heads to Los Angeles to take on USC for a Thursday night Pac-12 showdown. The Huskies are 2-2 this season and are coming off a loss at home to Cal. The Trojans are 3-1 and are coming off a bye. They routed Arizona State 42-14 in their last outing.

Despite losing to Stanford last month, USC is still very much in the playoff picture with just one loss. Washington has not been able to get things going like many expected when Chris Petersen was named head coach two years ago.

According to OddsShark, USC enters the game as a 16.5 home favorite against Washington. Both teams are 3-1 against the spread this season. USC is just 2-6 against the spread in the last eight game against the Huskies.

The over/under is set at 56.5 points. The total has gone under in seven of Washington’s last eight games.

The OddsShark computer picks USC to win 34.4 to 19.8. The computer is taking the points for Washington and going with the under on the point total.

The F+ ratings have USC as one of the best teams in the country at sixth while Washington is ranked 55th. It’s a Thursday night home game for USC and the team has had two weeks to prepare for Washington. I like USC to win big against a mediocre Washington team.

Heavy’s Pick: USC 34, Washington 14. USC -16.5. Under the point total.
