West Ham goes for Premier League history today when they take on United at Old Trafford. With a win, they’d be the first time in history to win at Arsenal, Liverpool, City and United in the same season.

Normally, a team with that record would find themselves in great position in the table. But after a strong August and September, the Hammers have just two points in their last four matches. Things don’t get easier, as striker Diafra Sakho will not return until after the new year with a thigh injury. Andy Carroll will start in his place against United, who are having similar injury problems up front.

Wayne Rooney is dealing with an ankle injury, and the injury is also expected to keep him out of United’s UCL group stage finale against Wolfsburg later this week. After losing Marcus Rojo to a separated shoulder during training last week, it’s no surprise there are rumors about United shopping for Messi and Neymar in the January transfer window.
