It seems fairly safe to assume that the Indiana men’s basketball team is still a little frustrated with its early exit from the Big Ten tournament.

After all, the Hooisers won the conference regular season title only to see their chances at another championship crushed with just one Michian three-pointer in the corner.

So, don’t be entirely surprised to witness an Indiana team with a chip on its collective shoulder on Thursday. Of course, that just makes for some more dramatic basketball, right? Definitely.

Game Preview: It is time to talk about Yogi Ferrell.

The Indiana guard averaged a team-best 17 points per game this season and connected on 41.7 percent of his shots from behind the arc. He’s been praised for his shooting talent and rightfully so. Ferrell is a big reason why Indiana is making its fourth NCAA Tournament appearance in five years.

While Ferrell has been making headlines for some time, don’t overlook freshman Thomas Bryant. The forward has been one of the best first-year players in the country, racking up 11.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

Of course, Chattanooga has its own stars as well.

The Mocs, who haven’t won an NCAA Tournament game since 2007, are paced by guard Tre’ McLean and his 12.3 points per game.

Be a bit wary of Chattanooga’s in-game jitters. The program has played in the NCAA Tournament since 2009.
