Los Angeles Lakers And Houston Rockets Announce Surprising Injury Reports

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets will face off in Texas.

The two teams also played on Monday, with the Lakers winning by a score of 100-92.

Luka Doncic led the way with 36 points.

For Wednesday’s game, both teams have announced their injury reports.

The Lakers have ruled out Maxi Kleber.

No one else is on their injury report for the contest.

Kleber has missed four straight games (and only appeared in 35 games this season).

Therefore, the Lakers are essentially fully healthy for the contest.

On the other side, the Rockets have ruled out Steven Adams, Fred VanVleet, Jae’Sean Tate and Tristen Newton.

Alperen Sengun is available (after missing Monday).

Adams and VanVleet are both out for the season, while Tate has been out since February (and Newton is on a two-way deal).

The Rockets are also mostly healthy for the contest (and no one is questionable or doubtful).

Lakers And Rockets This Season

The Lakers are the third seed in the Western Conference with a 43-25 record in 68 games.

They are in the middle of a six-game winning streak (and have won nine out of their last ten).

Following the Rockets, the Lakers will play their next game on Thursday when they visit Tyler Herro and the Miami Heat in Florida.

On the road, they are 20-13 in 33 games away from Crypto.com Arena.

The Rockets are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 41-26 record in 67 games.

They are 5-5 over their last ten games (and 23-9 at home in Houston).

Following the Lakers, the Rockets will play their next game on Friday night when they remain at home for a showdown with the Atlanta Hawks.

Last season, both the Lakers and Rockets lost in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.
