The Heat most recently beat the Detroit Pistons by a score of 121-110.
Tyler Herro finished with 25 points, six rebounds, three assists and one steal while shooting 8/16 from the field and 4/8 from three-point range in 30 minutes of playing time.

For Tuesday’s game, the Heat could be without Herro, as he has been added to the injury report.
Underdog NBA wrote: “Tyler Herro (quad) downgraded to questionable Tuesday.”

Herro is in his seventh NBA season (all with the Heat).
The former Kentucky star is having another strong year with averages of 22.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field and 40.2% from three-point range in 20 games.
He was recently named as the Eastern Conference Player of The Week.

Herro has helped the Heat have a solid record of 36-29 in 65 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are in the middle of a five-game winning streak (and winners of eight in their last ten).

At home, the Heat have gone 21-11 in 32 games played in Miami.
Following their showdown with Washington, they will remain at home to host the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.

Last season, the Heat lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.
That said, they have also made the Finals twice since the 2020 season.
Herro helped the Heat reach the Finals during his rookie year.
Washington Struggling
The Wizards are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 16-47 record in 63 games.
They have lost eight in a row.
Following Miami, the Wizards will visit the Orlando Magic on Thursday night.
