When WNBA superstar Angel Reese isn’t cheering for her brother, who plays for the Washington Wizards, she’s supportive of the Orlando Magic.
On Sunday night, the Magic gave the new Atlanta Dream forward a reason to celebrate as Orlando knocked off the top-seeded Detroit Pistons.
Reese took to social media to celebrate the Magic’s victory.

The Magic nearly fell out of the 2026 NBA playoff picture this week after losing in the NBA Play-In Tournament to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Being the initial eighth seed, the Magic had an opportunity to take on the Charlotte Hornets for the final seed in the Eastern Conference bracket.
The Hornets didn’t stand a chance. The Magic dominated Charlotte and secured a first-round series against the Detroit Pistons. The Magic rode into the playoffs red-hot and stunned the NBA with their performance on Sunday night.
Led by Paolo Banchero, who scored 23 points and came one rebound shy of a double-double, the Magic defeated Cade Cunningham and the Pistons 112-101.
Franz Wagner came second in scoring with 19 points in 32 minutes. Wendell Carter Jr. had 17 points and seven rebounds, while Desmond Bane contributed to 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Jalen Suggs put up 16 points, along with five rebounds and four assists.

It’s Too Early To Get Carried Away
The Magic proved they could take down the Pistons on two out of four occasions during the 2025-2026 regular season.
While the Magic are in a great spot, stealing one on the road, they know it’s too early to get carried away. At the end of the day, the Pistons are No. 1 for a reason. They were solid enough to be the only Eastern Conference team with 60 wins in 2025-2026.
