The Buffalo Bills are officially 3-0 to start the 2025-26 season following a great showing on Thursday Night Football on September 18 against the Miami Dolphins. While the Dolphins did put up a fight and it wasn’t a blowout, they just couldn’t beat quarterback Josh Allen and the team, and the Bills really pulled away in the second half of the game.
The win follows the Bills‘ opening victory over the Baltimore Ravens, which was a wild comeback win, and lopsided win over the New York Jets. So, it’s certainly an exciting time to be someone who follows the Buffalo Bills.
This season, Allen is a different man, in a way, because it’s his first season playing as a married man. Allen and his girlfriend, Hailee Steinfeld, got married over the summer, and judging by the early wins, it’s benefiting the Bills. Steinfeld was even a part of Allen’s big win on Thursday.

Before the game on Thursday, the NFL and NFL on Prime Video shared a photo on social media of Allen, and it paid tribute to his wife Hailee’s blockbuster movie, “Sinners.” They basically recreated the theme of the theme with Allen as the star actor.
So, what did Steinfeld think of it? She must have liked the tribute, because she shared it on her personal Instagram Stories.
On the subject of Hailee, in an interview with ESPN published the day of the game, Allen said that marrying her was his most important decision. How sweet is that?
“They’ve all been big, none other than marrying my best friend,” Allen said of the big events in his life. “And she makes everything easier, so I don’t really focus on the other stuff. That was the most important decision I’ll make in my life, and I made the right one.”

In the same interview, friend and Detroit Lions quarterback Kyle Allen also talked about Allen. He said that while he’s focused on football, he also loved to enjoy himself, especially in the offseason.
“When football is on, he’s locked in and,” he told ESPN, “there’s no quarterback out there that knows his offense better, is better at understanding the defense teams are playing. And then when it’s over, he loves to have a good time.”
He added, “So, I mean, all his teammates can attest to that. He loves to have a good time, and in the offseason, I don’t know if we talk about football ever.”
With all of that said, it’s not surprising that Allen’s NFL merchandise is among the best-selling in the country. The NFLPA has released its year-end Top 50 player sales list, which reports on sales from March 1 through July 31, 2025. The NFLPA’s annual tally is the sole verified ranking of all officially licensed, NFL player-branded merchandise sold by online and traditional retail outlets. Allen was ranked No. 4 on the tally. Eagles All-Pro and the NFL Offensive Player of the Year Saquon Barkley was No. 1.
It’s great to see the Buffalo Bills entering the season already with a 3-0 record. Not to name names, but there’s a certain AFC rival that can’t say the same this season.
