Omenihu (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday. Omenihu logged limited sessions last week after he was designated to return from the PUP list, but has yet to move to the 53-man roster. He'll likely need to practice in full by Friday at the latest, to return to the active roster and suit up Sunday against the Panthers.
Gray gathered in four of five targets for 23 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 30-21 loss against the Bills. Gray didn't finish the day with a particularly standout fantasy line, but he did make the most of his targets in the red zone, collecting a pair of them in the end zone for his first career multi-touchdown effort. Gray played only two snaps fewer than Travis Kelce in Sunday's affair. He should continue to see regular reps in two-tight end sets and when Kelce needs a breather. That said, Gray's two touchdowns Sunday also marked his first two of the season, so this effort should be banked as more of an anomaly than an expected outcome moving forward.
Watson reeled in both of his targets for 26 yards during Sunday's 30-21 loss against the Bills. Despite matching his two-catch and two-target total from a week ago, Watson notably played a significantly lower snap percentage (56 percent) compared to what he drew (75 percent) last week and in preceding games. That likely correlates with the return of JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) from a multiweek absence, leaving Watson slightly lower on the pecking order for reps. He finished with the second-most offensive snaps (31) behind Xavier Worthy (32), but Watson doesn't produce enough to warrant fantasy consideration in most leagues.
Smith-Schuster hauled in his only target for eight yards during Sunday's 30-21 loss to the Bills. Smith-Schuster logged only 20 snaps in his return to action Sunday, turning the limited run into just one grab. Following the trade deadline acquisition of DeAndre Hopkins, Smith-Schuster's seven-catch, 130-yard performance against the Saints in Week 5 seems unlikely to be replicated. Still, Smith-Schuster figures to handle a regular role on offense for the rest of the regular season due to the Chiefs' thinned-out wide receiver room because of injury.
Steele recorded one rush for two yards and gathered in his only target for five yards during Sunday's 30-21 loss versus the Bills. Steele saw the field on just eight offensive plays versus the Bills, so his two touches during the contest shouldn't come as a surprise. The undrafted rookie's fantasy future looks even bleaker when factoring in the anticipated return of Isiah Pacheco (ankle) from injured reserve in Week 12. If everything goes as expected, Steele and Samaje Perine will likely be duking it out for spare reps behind Pacheco and Kareem Hunt going forward.
Perine didn't tally a carry but reeled in two of his four targets for eight yards during Sunday's 30-21 defeat versus Buffalo. Perine nabbed double-digit snaps (11) again Sunday, but his string of eight consecutive games reaching that plateau may end in Week 12 with Isaiah Pacheco (ankle) primed to make his return to the gridiron. Assuming that occurs, Pacheco and Kareem Hunt should take hold of the vast majority of snaps, leaving Perine and Carson Steele with minimal opportunities moving forward.
Tranquill finished with eight tackles (three solo) in Sunday's 30-21 loss to the Bills. The linebacker also played on more than 70 percent of the defensive snaps for the 10th time in 10 games this season. Tranquill has 57 tackles (32 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery this season.
