Dotson finished with zero receptions on one target in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Steelers. The game ended a streak of six straight contests in which Dotson recorded exactly one catch. The Eagles' passing game was the primary story surrounding the team during the week, and Jalen Hurts responded with a strong performance, going 25-of-32 for 290 yards and two touchdowns, but as usual, nearly all of his looks went to his top two wideouts. A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith each saw double-digit targets, while the rest of the team combined for just eight.
Gainwell rushed seven times for 20 yards and caught three passes for 40 yards in Sunday's win over the Steelers. Saquon Barkley was banged up for part of the game, missing the entire second quarter before returning to action, which allowed Gainwell to see a season-high 31 offensive snaps. The result was Gainwell's second-highest yardage total of the season, though he failed to find the end zone with any of his 10 touches. He's scored just one touchdown all year.
Calcaterra recorded one catch on one target for 22 yards in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Steelers. Calcattera continues to see an uptick in snaps with Dallas Goedert (knee) sidelined. However, he has only four targets across two games as the team's primary tight end while working behind DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown for targets. So long as that duo remains healthy, Calcattera is unlikely to see an uptick in volume, leaving him as an unreliable fantasy contributor.
Smith recorded 11 receptions on 12 targets for 109 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Steelers. Smith led the Eagles' strong showing through the air, pacing the team in targets and receptions. He tallied long gains of 22 and 20 yards to surpass 100 yards for the first time on the campaign. Smith also hauled in a two-yard touchdown pass early in the second quarter, his second score in as many games since returning from a hamstring injury. His opportunities are often relatively limited -- this marked the first time he's topped seven targets since Week 3 -- which has caused inconsistent production, though Smith showcased his fantasy potential with this performance.
Brown recorded eight receptions on 11 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Steelers. Brown made headlines throughout the week after being critical of Philadelphia's passing offense, but he did his part to quiet that storyline by hauling in a season-best eight receptions while topping 100 yards for the fifth time in 11 contests. His performance was highlighted by long receptions 21, 20, 19 and 17 yards as well as a five-yard touchdown late in the first quarter. Brown's strong performance was almost soured late in the game when he got up slowly after an apparent hip-drop tackle, though he was spotted moving fine in the locker room following the win, per Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia.
Barkley rushed the ball 19 times for 65 yards in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Steelers. He added two receptions on two targets for nine yards. Barkley missed nearly the entire second quarter with an undisclosed issue, though he handled 12 carries in the final two quarters to alleviate any injury concerns. It still wasn't a spectacular showing, as he was largely held in check by the Steelers, with the only exception being a 22-yard gain late in the first quarter. Barkley was also denied a touchdown for the second consecutive game, though he should have a chance to bounce back in Week 16 against the Commanders.
Hurts completed 25 of 32 passes for 290 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Steelers. He added 15 rushes for 45 yards and an additional score. The effectiveness of the Eagles' passing attack was in question throughout the week, as Hurts had failed to top 200 passing yards in three straight games. He silenced those questions in an excellent Week 15 showing by averaging 9.1 yards per attempt while completing six passes of at least 20 yards. Hurts also threw for multiple touchdowns for only the sixth time this season, while supplementing it with his 14th rushing score of the campaign. All of that production came despite playing through a broken finger, an injury that Hurts confirmed after the game, per Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
