Mike Cole is a veteran sports journalist who covers professional golf as well as the Baltimore Ravens , New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers for Heavy.com. He has spent his entire career in sports media, including the first years covering Boston sports.
Mike previously worked at New England Sports Network (NESN.com) where he spent time as both a writer and editor covering the Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics and Patriots as well as much more inside and outside the Boston sports scene.
He spent two seasons as NESN.com's Bruins beat writer, covering the team on its run to the Stanley Cup Final in 2013.
Mike also helped launch NESN's betting site, NESN Bets, and spearheaded the website's dedicated golf coverage, including a series of local course spotlights and on-site coverage for PGA Tour, LPGA and USGA events.
Education
Mike graduated from Springfield College with a degree in Communcations/Sports Journalism and English in 2010. He also played baseball for the Pride.
