The Cavaliers waived Livingston (hand) on Tuesday, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Livingston recently suffered a hand injury and is likely to miss about a month of action, resulting in the Cavaliers waiving him. The 22-year-old forward appeared in just three regular-season games with the parent club, averaging 3.0 points in 5.7 minutes per contest. Now, he'll have to explore other opportunities while rehabbing from the hand injury.

Signing two-way deal with Cleveland

Livingston agreed to a two-way contract with the Cavaliers on Friday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. After being waived by the Bucks during training camp, Livingston has latched on with another team. The 2023 second-rounder will likely see most of his playing time come with the G League's Cleveland Charge, though Livingston is also a depth option in the Cavaliers' frontcourt while Jarrett Allen's (finger) status remains in limbo.

Waived by Bucks

The Bucks waived Livingston on Thursday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports. The last pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, Livingston signed a guaranteed deal in the offseason with the Bucks, but he wasn't able to survive Milwaukee's roster crunch. He made just 21 regular-season appearances in 2024-25 with an average of 5.0 minutes per contest while shooting 33.3 percent from the field.
