Now it’s for real. Well, sort of.
After a week of joint practices, the Dolphins and Panthers will meet inside Bank of America Stadium a play a real game. Whatever positives each team could take away from the week were destroyed on Wednesday, as Panthers’ top receiver Kelvin Benjamin was carted off the field and was diagnosed with a torn ACL.
The Dolphins are feeling great, having won their first preseason contest over Chicago, 27-10. The Panthers won their first contest against Buffalo 25-24, but now have bigger questions to answer at receiver as the regular season inches closer.
The game kicks off at 7 p.m. Eastern, 6 p.m. Central, and can be seen on CBS 4 (Miami)/CW 18 (Charlotte), as well on stations in the surrounding areas:
