In sports betting, no position is more important than the quarterback. So when Ben Roethlisberger says he wants to play Sunday, there’s a chance things could get funky.

Roethlisberger is recovering from a knee sprain, and Michael Vick has filled in at starting quarterback. But Ben says his knee is healthy enough for practice, which means that a full return is just around the corner. Whether Ben plays against former coach Bruce Arians on Sunday remains to be seen.

What will be seen on Sunday will be what could be the NFC’s best team. Arizona has started 4-1, and is on the heels of a dominating 42-17 performance in Detroit Sunday. A healthy Carson Palmer is playing some of his best football, and he now has a stable of speedy running backs to provide support. The biggest surprise for the Cardinals is the resurgence of Larry Fitzgerald, who leads all NFL receivers with six touchdown receptions. Fitzgerald is a big reason Arizona is a four-point road favorite heading into Sunday.
