We were let down by a few teams last week to end up at 2-3 after our hot streak over the past few weeks. This week, we will look to get back on track. We stay away from the Baylor and Oklahoma game which for all intensive purposes is a pick 'em. Our picks lean heavy on the SEC and AAC. Both conferences provide some great options with this week's slate of games. All lines are courtesy of OddsShark and is subject to change. No. 5 Arizona State -2.5 Against Washington
Records: Arizona State 4-5, Washington 4-5
Last Game: Arizona State lost 38-24 to Washington State, Washington lost 34-23 to Utah
Why Arizona State Covers: Arizona State is reeling after looking like one of the best teams in the Pac-12. Washington has looked good in spots, but it is hard to imagine them outscoring Arizona State. Despite having the same record, the Huskies do not have the talent to keep up with the Sun Devils. Look for Arizona State to get back on track against the Huskies. (Getty)

No. 4 LSU -7.5 Against Arkansas
Records: LSU 7-1, Arkansas 5-4
Last Game: LSU lost 30-16 to Alabama, Arkansas won 53-52 over Ole Miss
Why LSU Covers: LSU looked over-matched against Alabama. All this sets up perfectly for the Tigers to make things right against Arkansas. It is a night game in Death Valley after LSU is coming off a loss. Arkansas had a crazy overtime win against Ole Miss last week, but will face a better opponent this week. Expect LSU to take out their frustration on Arkansas and win this one by double digits. (Getty)

No. 3 Alabama -8 Against Mississippi State
Records: Alabama 8-1, Mississippi State 7-2
Last Game: Alabama won 30-16 over LSU, Mississippi State won 31-13 over Missouri
Why Alabama Covers: While this could be a letdown spot for Alabama after their big win against LSU, it is hard to imagine the Crimson Tide letting up before the end of the season. Alabama is playing as well as any team in the country. Mississippi State is having a good season, but they will face a different caliber opponent than they have all season. The Bulldogs last four games were against Missouri, Kentucky, Louisiana Tech and Troy. Look for Mississippi State to be outmatched and Alabama to continue their domination. (Getty)

No. 2 Temple -3 Against USF
Records: Temple 8-1, USF 5-4
Last Game: Temple had a bye, USF won 22-17 over ECU
Why Temple Covers: After narrowly losing to Notre Dame, Temple had a bye week. Temple and Memphis have looked like the two best teams in the AAC. The best thing you can say about USF's season is they have close losses to the quality teams they have played. Temple is the better team and should win this one by double digits. (Getty)

No. 1 Memphis +7 Against Houston
Records: Memphis 8-1, Houston 9-0
Last Game: Memphis lost to Navy 45-20, Houston won 33-30 over Cincinnati
Take the Points: Memphis had a bad game against Navy, particularly against their dynamic offense. Aside from their win against Cincinnati last week, Houston's schedule has consisted mostly of the teams at the bottom of the AAC. Prior to last week, Memphis looked like the class of the AAC. They should get back on track this week and have a good shot at winning this game outright. (Getty)
